Much interest was shown in the Grauniad article on Slater and Jimenez, including Slater's brush with the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal in May 2007. It didn't really say very much other than that he was innocent on all five charges brought against him, but that "the way in which the Respondent (Michael Slater) conducted himself could well be detrimental to the good reputation of the solicitors’ profession as a whole".
