Charlton 2 Stockport 0

Three points, two goals, and a clean sheet, what's not to like? In truth this was a dreadfully dull little game, and had it not been for the uncharacteristic netting of two goals in the first ten minutes, may well have ended in frustrating stalemate, such was the paucity of attacking threat from Charlton. Don't be fooled by the result though, Charlton played like a team short of confidence and ideas, and it was fortunate that in Stockport we faced a side of loanees who haven't really worked out how to play together yet. Best to draw a veil over this one, and move on.

There will be far harder days than this, starting next weekend when we go to The Toolbox, but for now we have Leeds still in our sights, and that is as good as it gets right now.

  1. I see you are spot on with your prediction for points total so far. I sure hope your Season Total holds true :-)
